Do you have a passion for skincare and have considered becoming an esthetician? When you decide on a career in beauty, you get to look forward to a future in a field that’s always growing and evolving. Every year, there are new products and techniques to try that give you a chance to grow in your knowledge. The state of Colorado regulates estheticians and requires all to get licensed. Read more to learn how to become an esthetician in Colorado!

Complete An Esthetics Program

Your first step to becoming an esthetician is to find an esthetics program. To get your license in Colorado, you must complete at least 600 clock hours. At Beautiful You Skincare Academy, our Esthetics Program is 613 clock hours. We provide an extra 13 hours to ensure our students are getting the most out of their education. We use these extra 13 hours to provide training in:

  • Sales
  • How to start up a business
  • How to market yourself
  • How to build a clientele

If students don’t have an understanding of what it takes to succeed in a business setting, it provides a gap in the industry. We have found that our students are better prepared for employment by setting the bar higher.

We are proud to offer one of the most advanced esthetics curriculum in the state of Colorado! Our intensive curriculum includes instruction in the following areas:

  • Facials
  • Hair removal
  • Makeup
  • Skin analysis
  • Extractions
  • Ingredient knowledge
  • Lash and brow tinting
  • Anatomy
  • LED light therapy
  • Safety and sanitation
  • And much more!

Choosing A School

Choosing the right school is important when it comes to the success of your education and your career. Beautiful You Skincare Academy provides a beautiful high end training facility, along with a digital interactive learning curriculum. We are committed to elevating our industry and helping estheticians succeed in their careers.
