“As a licensed esthetician by trade I know that it can feel like there is just so much to learn, and so many paths to take with esthetics. I believe that the learning journey never ends, and when it comes to your potential for learning it truly matters where you receive that education. I am so passionate about providing the very best in esthetics education because you deserve the best. I have created a unique curriculum sharing my decades of skincare knowledge as well as my entrepreneurial skills and experiences. Our educators are licensed estheticians that bring a combined 40+ years of industry-specific knowledge, & spa business expertise. We are ensuring that through our curriculum our students get everything they need to succeed in the industry, including business and career planning, with ongoing mentorship and support available post-graduation.
Lastly, aesthetic matters, which is why we provide a clean, healthy and beautiful educational training facility for you to learn in, along with a digital interactive learning curriculum in a real spa clinic environment that you won’t find anywhere else in Colorado. Aubrey Holland

Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Esthetics Instructor-Full Time Day Program
Aubrey is a professionally licensed esthetician and licensed massage therapist. She is also a former alumni of Beautiful You Skincare Academy. Aubrey is the proud owner of Pueblo Serenity Day Spa and has an a great entrepreneurial background and spirit that she gets to share with our students.
Aubrey holds Colorado state certifications in Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, Microneedling, Brazilian Waxing & Chemical Peels. She still actively works in the industry, and has a passion is for skincare and self care. She enjoys helping her clients reach their skincare and wellness goals and keeping them looking and feeling their very best.
When Aubrey is not teaching or working on clients she enjoys spending time with her Husband, and Daughter. Aubrey loves serving the Pueblo community and has demonstrated her leadership through serving on several boards throughout Pueblo. Aubrey is very excited to have the opportunity to teach the next generation of estheticians and she looks forward to leading, mentoring and sharing her knowledge and expertise with all of them.
Miranda Marhofer

Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Esthetics Instructor- Part Time Evening Program
Miranda is the oldest Daughter of our owner Desarae Marhofer. Miranda works as one of our skilled Licensed Estheticians on our professional staff, as well as a part time Esthetics Instructor for our evening program.
Miranda was personally trained in our Skincare Academy by her Mother and Owner Desarae back in 2020, so she has a wealth of knowledge in all areas of skincare and the beauty business in general. Miranda is confident in her role as an esthetician and instructor. She has a passion for the industry and serving her clients and students. She is an energetic, friendly and bubbly soul, and she has a great sense of business and customer service and the esthetics/beauty industry as a whole.
Miranda holds state certifications in brazilian waxing, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, hydrafacials, chemical peels, microneedling, & lash lifting and tinting.
Miranda is eager to begin her teaching journey. She will be instructing our part time evening esthetics course as well a teaching advanced courses on the weekends for already licensed estheticians.
She is a young & motivated skincare professional who is ready to give back to our industry and raise the standard of esthetics education in Colorado.
Katrina Chavez
Littleton Campus
Licensed Esthetician, School Director, Licensed Esthetics Instructor
With a passion for skin care and education, Katrina brings 22 years of experience in both Plastic Surgery and the Medical Spa aesthetic industry. Beginning her career in 2000 as a Certified Laser Technician, then Skin Care Specialist it became clear that teaching is where her passion is, and loves sharing her experience with students. Katrina prides herself on keeping up with the demands of the industry, providing only the best in education and treatments.
Her passion for skin care along with her natural ability to connect with people enables them to feel comfortable committing to their aesthetic goals. Katrina has been training and mentoring future providers for over 5 years, and her love for aesthetics truly shines through when she is teaching students. She uses her advanced training in Laser Technology and Skin Rejuvenation to provide students with a greater understanding of how to transform skin. Katrina is always growing, inspiring, and continuing her education, so that she may effectively help and educate every student she encounters. She’s excited about the future of aesthetics, beauty, and alternative health industries merging with the technologies and concepts of Medical Aesthetics.
Born and raised in Denver, Colo. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts, and reading.
She is eager and ready to meet our new esthetics students, and licensed professionals and help them to grow their skill set and become empowered Estheticians in Colorado!
Lee Coburn
Littleton Campus
Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Esthetics Instructor- Part Time Program
Lee’s interest in pursuing skin care started in 2002 when she started as a receptionist at a well known, local salon/spa in Tucson, Arizona. Her mother taught her at a young age to take care of her skin, but she had no idea the amount of help that she could do for others until she started working in the spa industry. She became a Licensed Esthetician in 2005. She has had the privilege of working in laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation using IPL, as well as world renowned spas such as Canyon Ranch Wellness Resort and Miraval Resort & Spa. While these were amazing experiences, she realized that being able to connect and create a relationship with a return clientele was her true passion. This is when the entrepreneur in her blossomed. In 2014, she opened her first spa suite, but life would soon take her to Denver, CO where she has made a home since late 2015. She opened her second spa suite in 2018 where she specialized in facials from basic to advanced, full body waxing, lash and brow tints/lifts, and lash extensions.
Education in skin care piqued her interest early on her career, but she never knew how, when or if it would happen. BYSA found her and she immediately connected with their passion in elevating the industry and fully supporting their students through their journey to making Esthetics a successful and fulfilling career. She is honored and committed to share her passion of the industry with her students.
She teaches the full time, foundational program along with advanced courses including Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peel, Microneedling, and Brazilian Wax.
A Private Boutique Beauty School
Our Academy is Approved and Regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, & the Division of Private Occupational Schools.
We offer Colorado State Approved curriculum regulated by DORA, and The Department of Private Occupational Schools for the following courses: Esthetician Program, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Microneedling, Eyelash Extensions, Lash Lifting & Tinting, Brow Henna & Lamination, Brazilian Waxing, and 132 Permanent Cosmetics program. You will receive a State Approved certificate with a state seal after meeting the required DORA training requirements for all courses.

I recently took a Microneedling Class at BYSA and cannot say enough great things about the experience. The facility is beautiful and the lab and classroom are setup perfectly for learning and treating clients. The materials were presented very well, the instructor was also the owner and founder of BYSA and she is an excellent teacher.
