Beautiful You Skincare Academy is a great addition to Southern Colorado. I received a great education here. The hands on opportunity is extremely beneficial, in gaining experience working on clients. Additionally, I earned advanced certifications as part of the tuition. The instructors are very knowledgeable and have many years of experience in the Esthetics field.
I recently took a Microneedling Class at BYSA and cannot say enough great things about the experience. The facility is beautiful and the lab and classroom are setup perfectly for learning and treating clients. The materials were presented very well, the instructor was also the owner and founder of BYSA and she is an excellent teacher.

Upon successful completion of your advanced course you will receive a state approved certification with a state seal reflecting the DORA required hours for all regulated advanced courses.
Yes. All certification courses require a valid Colorado esthetics or cosmetology license.
No, Nurses cannot perform services that are regulated under the Department of Regulatory Agencies under the sanction of Barber & Cosmetology. They would need to also have an esthetics or cosmetology license.
It is illegal for nurses to perform facials, waxing, lashes, lash lifts, brow laminations, makeup applications, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and permanent makeup. These services all fall under DORA- Barber and Cosmetology.
